Most people don't know social media is social media. They are just having fun, sharing links and chilling out. I've found that lots of people use the words social media too much. Many do nothing at all in their lives and are only 'social' on a handful of sites. What makes me laugh the most is when these dopes interview each other like they are media stars. Behind the scenes they are only making themselves look like idiots.

Matthew - Social media marketing is not going away. I agree with you. Sometimes it feels as tho the people who have just 'discovered' social media are like the folks who back in another age (smile)wanted that cool website because it was .. well cool. Without the back-end strategy social media falls flat. People become confused and frustrated especially since the payback/ROI is usually so different than even interactive.
