Yes, that title required three exclamation points.
Here at Pandemic Labs, we’ve been working in social media for a long time. And over the years, we’ve developed some great tools that have allowed us to gain insight into the depths of social media usage. Most recently, we’ve developed a tool called Watchtower that allows us to gain tremendous insight into Facebook Pages.
We want to share as much of our knowledge as possible, because the better marketers are at social media, the happy we will all be as users. To that end, you are going to see a lot more information from us in our new series “The Science of Social.”
To kick things off, we’ve created this infographic which shows some key insight into what Facebook users engage with the most versus what brand Pages post the most.

Completely agree with this! I found through experience that pictures speak louder than words on Facebook. People respond better with Likes, Comments and Shares. Facebook reports that 425 million users access the website through their mobile devices – So if they’re viewing their news feed, your messages are bound stand out stronger as images than just text and links.
Interesting infographic and interesting to me how little people follow this concept. This idea isn’t new either. Long before ‘THE SOCIAL MEDIA CRAZE’ newspapers, magazines, and online videos displayed content. Usually if it was pure written content or bland it was viewed less or hardly ever remembered. If an image/video was unique and personable it became an instant hit. People need to look at how history plays out and understand how important it is to share quality content. followfanpage.com
