Exceptional post you have established here! The internet is stuffed of horrid penning and I was taken hold of by your lucidity. Your decisions are correct and I will instantly subscribe to your rss feed to stay up to date with your up emerging postings. Yes! I acknowledge it, your composition style is phenomenal and I will work harder on mine.

Greetings!

Thank you for the well written article on self-promotion with social media. I am on the brink of promoting my new music band, and I want to be very careful not to turn people away by "spamming" us to death. It's a fine balance between asking for attention and bugging the hell out of people. :)

Thanks again for the information!

Best wishes!
Shannon

Very well written article. I have been trying to bust into the social media market for a while now. My partners do not think it is worth my time. But I see the true value in it. Excellent points you made especially about making friends. I have started a few accounts but have not taken the time to make friends. However I will begin doing that now!

extremely well communicated. you have to self-promote to at least some degree to get whatever it is you do noticed. to do it right, of course, is a question of balance - as is all social interaction.

You are right about the shouting thing. Indeed, if one continually makes noise all the time, pretty soon people won't listen any more. They will just get tired of the same old shouts. If the information that is being shouted is helpful to everyone and is not just a self promotion plug, people will be receptive to it. The rule of thumb when writing a blog or even running a website is to be as informative to the public as possible. One can write informative how to articles and also add videos that are informative, so people will always read the blog. Matt really hit this point on the head. Don't just go blogging about oneself without providing helpful information to others. By me responding to Matt's article, I don't even have to tell anyone that I am promoting myself, people will already know and respond favorably simply because I am not just plugging away bragging about how good I am or how good the service I provide is, And, I don't intend to start now; People will find out about what I have to offer on their own if they like what I am saying.
